The Face of Faith

A simple question first off. How can you measure Faith in order to know if your losing it?

This is a puzzling question which, at times, has no real answer.

Faith is defined as:

  • In religion: a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny.
  • In society: Total and complete confidence in a person or plan, like a spouse or a business or even the president.
  • In politics: Total loyalty or allegiance to a cause.

Question, to you is how much faith do you possess? Do you know how to measure your faith for anything of this world or outside of this world? This is a question which I guess may not have a real answer. I believe that we all have faith for something or someone. For the Christians their faith is founded on a belief in Jesus Christ and God. Faith, true faith is a Christian doctrine. So, to say don’t lose faith would be to a Christian a way of staying on track with God and not wavering from the truth. To remain faithful to God.

Our lives are but a vapor in time and our faith falters from time to time. It’s called being a human, and being alive. So, for those who are like me and have a difficult time staying the path and keeping the faith, welcome to my site! Don’t Lose Faith.Com

I heard your Amazing Grace song and was so moved.I was raised Catholic but left the church because I got pregant out of wedlock and was made uncomfortable because of my keeping my daughter who is 25 and doing well for herself.I was so active in my church and to be treated like this really makes me think about my faith,I have been to church maybe 3 times in 25 years.

      Lisa,
Thank you for visiting our site! I would like to also thank Il Divo for their rendition of the song, “Amazing Grace”. I find it so uplifting to my soul when I hear it. I do love to listen to it from time to time. I must admit, at first I listened to it so much that if it were on the old vinyl albums it would have worn out along time ago.

I understand what it is like to be shunned by the industry of religion. It took me awhile to fully understand Who God Is and Who God Is Not.

Your comment has sparked a desire in me to put the wisdom instilled to me into words. I’m going to start today and should have it completed within the next few days. Once it’s done I plan on posting it here on DLF. I hope this writing can help you and others who need to have their faith uplifted.

Thank you again for visiting DLF

      Gary
