I’m trying to find an email entitled “The Boss” or “A Message From the Boss”, or something similar. The Boss in the email is God. I had it stored as one of my documents; but it deleted itself. It was very inspirational to me when I was going through a tough ordeal.

Hi Norman,
After doing some research to find the email you are looking for,
I ‘m hoping that one of these is it?
Memo from God
or
God is my Boss
Please let me know if either one of these is what you were looking for. If one of these isn’t what you were looking for is there any other information you can provide to help me find it for you?
P.S. Remember, always, no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up!

I am looking for a specific email that I had actually kept for year. Even printed part of it and posted by mirror so that I would look at it everyday. Sadly when we moved I lost the print out and can no longer find the saved email. Maybe you can help?? The basic summary/gist of it was ~ an old lady is being put into a nursing home and upon being shown her room she states that it’s beautiful and she loves it. To which the assistant replies ‘How do you know you can’t even see it, your blind?’ The lady replies that she decided when she got up that morning that she would love it and that is what happened. It goes on to kind of list some daily pointer suggestions to make you look at the positive. I should know all of these by heart, however, since my car accident I process a lot in summaries and gists. Sooo, if this email sounds familiar and you have it I would really love to have it again. Thanks so much. You have a very wonderful site.

Hi Angie,
Was it this one?
A 92-year old petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o’clock, with her hair fashionably done and makeup perfectly applied, even through she is a legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window.
“I love it” she stated with enthusiasm of and eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy. “Mrs. Jones, you haven’t seen the room just wait.” That doesn’t have anything to do with it.” She replied. “Happiness is something you decided on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged…..it’s how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I’ll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I’ve stored away just for this time in my life. Age is like a bank account: you withdraw from what you’ve put in. So my advice to everyone that reads Marvell’s Memorial would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories. I truly want to thank all of you for your part in filling my Memory bank. I’m still depositing”
Remember: Free your heart from hatred, Free your mind from worries, Live simply, Give more expect less, have no regrets. And whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, and whatever things are of good report: If there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
I hope it is. I am not sure who the author is but as far as I can tell it was first published on the internet in 2001. Have an awesome, blessed day and remember, no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up!

Thank You for your Lovely site, I am passing your messages along and put you as the Author obviously, they have incredible insight and help many, including myself.
It would be too much to go into here and at this time, yet I wanted to share a couple of quotes I came up with through looking at your e-mails to pass on.
I linked them to two pictures, one of a Cat I called Tom, after reading your Story ” What Happens in Heaven”. As the Man was named “Tom”, I have had a similar experience myself, I copied and pasted the story into the description of a Photo I took of a Curious Cat looking through my Dressing Room Window.
I did this as on Facebook there is a “see more” option on Photos Descriptions when they are longer than the alotted space for quick on screen viewing and so I wrote “A Friendly Cat Looking Through my Dressing Room Window…Curiosity Finds Hidden Things Sometimes Just Like This Message Was Hidden Here” see more, this is where your story is.
I also came up with this as the Cat in the Photo is looking through a Window: The reflection, it reflected back to us what we were seeking, but could not hope to find, until we looked within ourselves… ~ Kevin Patrick Ryan.
I did the same for your other Lovely Story “My Best Friend” and came up with this:
Don’t Judge a Book by it’s Cover, Dog Ears hold a Friendly Pointer.~
