Then for some more fun, email this page to your family and friends so they can add their favorite old tv shows too.

Sky King was on t.v. from 1951 to 1962.

“From out of the clear blue of the western sky comes Sky King” These words were always spoken at the beginning of the Sky King episodes.

As for what type of aircraft Sky King featured, it was a Cessna.

Sky (the main actor played by Kirby Grant) nicknamed the Cessna “Songbird”.

This television show influenced many children who grew up to become astronauts and / or pilots.

Show: Gilligan’s Island. We could only watch a little tv after school during the middle grades and it was on at the right time. I enjoyed the light-hearted humor and the relationship situations that were addressed.

I love all of these shows mentioned. I am new to the site but i did not see, RHODA. I loved her because she was spunky and funny. I loved her sense of humor. I being a huge fan of Mary Tyler Moore as well, seemed like a natural move to go wtih watching Rhoda as well. Unfortunately, Rhoda did not have the run that Mary did.

My all time favorite show was Father Knows best, but it seems it is very popular with others also. Another show that I really liked watching was My Three Sons. I can’t imagine having three sons, but I did love the show. I really miss all the good family shows that use to be on.

The Carol Burnett Show-This, without a doubt, was the funniest show I have ever seen! There was never a dull moment. Everyone on there, was funny! Very talented people!! That was one hour that I forgot everything else, and just laughed uncontrolably! Laverne & Shirley–These two women never ran out of something stupid to do, and I could not wait to see what they came up with next. I absolutely loved this show, and never missed it!

Robert Young was the father of Betty, Bud and Cathy. It was fun watching the day to day things the kids got into. Bud was always getting in trouble for something and Cathy was the cute one whole was always ready to tell on Betty or Bud.

Here’s an example of how to list your favorite old tv show:
My Old TV Show Title: Little House On The Prairie
My Fond Memories: I remember watching Little House on the Prairie when I was a little girl. My favorite character was Laura Ingalls. As a little girl, I thought the loft where Laura and Mary would sleep and brush their hair was so much fun. The interaction between the Ingalls and the Nelsons always kept the show interesting. I love Little House on the Prairie. It is to me a classic.
