Connor Doran – Video of Indoor Kite Flying Competition Jun 24

Above is an inspirational video of Connor Doran at a 2010 Lincoln City, Oregon Indoor Kite Flying Competition. I chose Connor because of the demonstration I saw last night on America’s Got Talent show. His story is touching and the reason he flies indoor kites is to help him to relax and this helps him to control his epilepsy. He’s a very charming 17 year old from Bend, Oregon who will leave you awe struck as he eloquently flies his amazing white revolution indoor kite.

After seeing this amazing indoor sport I researched where to do this sport at and where I could buy a kite like the one he flew.

First, I found out that in the Northwest at Lincoln City, Oregon this sport is quite popular. In fact Lincoln City is having a kite festival this weekend.  I am looking forward to going to this festival. I heard that Connor and his mom, Amy should be there. :)

As far as where I can buy a kite at, I found out that Revolution Kites are available through one of the sites that we are affiliated with and that they are quite reasonably priced. (yay!! looks like I might have found a new hobby!!)

P.S. If this video inspires you like it did me and you would like to try this indoor sport, here’s where you can see several Revolution Kites for sale at Amazon.

Remember, Always, No Matter What Don’t Lose Faith and Never Give Up!

I never knew such competition existed. All I can say is wow. I have been watching this amazing young man on America’s Got Talent and was so disappointed when he didn’t go through but was very pleased when he was brought back for the wild card round. Amy is an amazing mother to encourage him to follow his heart. Connor, if you read this, all I have to say is never stop what you are doing. I can feel your heart and soul in your performance. It literally brought tears to my eyes. I pray the rest of America will see what an amazing young man you are. I hope one day my autistic son can find something that can bring him the same peace and joy you have obviously found. Congratulations on making it to the semi finals. God bless you and your mother. I will be watching and voting for you.

Can anybody pass this message to Conner? Seizures can be caused by so many things, not sure Connor’s docs have identified the cause of it. Food allergy or nutrition imbalance can be the root of it, but mainstream neurologists do not really care about that. Really want to suggest two great books to Conner and his family: Treating Epilepsy Naturally by Patricia Murphy and Epilepsy a new Approach by Adrienne Richard and Joel Reiter.
