Matt Lucas (the guitar player / singer) and Anthony Morigerato (the tap dancer) make an inspiring duo with this music presentation on America’s Got Talent. They are quite a pair. I think Guitap would be a cool name for them if they decide to give themselves a group name. Watch this video and be inspired by their guitar playing, tap dancing routine.
During the brief interview with Matt and Anthony, it became clear that they went against all odds to find a common ground of loving music, to lay a foundation for this moment. To imagine, that they were roommates for months before they figured out that they shared this common talent, to me is an example of God working in mysterious ways! ![]()
UPDATE: I just came across one of Tony’s tap dancing videos. The video looks like a home video but his talent shines through!!
As always, remember, no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up!

Hello.
Great minds think alike. But I think Guitapper would be a better name. I emailed that suggestion to AGT but just in case Matt and Anthony don’t get it, could you post that suggestion along with Guitap? I don’t know how to contact them directly, do you? I wish them the best — they are an awesome act. Thank you.

Hey Bob-O
I think the song is ‘Use Me’ by Bill Withers – The original version is a lot longer though.
Hope this helps!

Matt and Anthony are wonderful to watch. What great performers with great musical insight. I am not a regular watcher of America’s Got Talent, but caught their performance on YouTube. Where is Anthony’s dance studio? I would love to get my kids into this kind of dancing. Love it!

Looks like I found the answer to my question. Too bad I don’t live anywhere near New York. If you find more videos, please share them. I really enjoy watching this guy. It’s not just the sounds of his taps, it’s his body movements. So many dancers don’t realize how important it is to keep fluid and some tappers don’t realize that what they do with their hands and arms matters. Anthony utilized these things in his performance on America’s Got Talent, and that’s what made it exceptional, at least for me.
