Today is Memorial day in the United States. Many celebrations in honor of our fallen heroes are going on across the nation. For me, the realization of how many lives have been lost to give us the freedom we have in America is overwhelming. My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of all the military people who have fought for our country and loss their lives or have become disabled due to their active service for our country. I also want to thank everyone who has served and who are serving in the military now. You have done an honorable thing and for this you deserve to be recognized.

As this memorial day 2009 comes to an end, I hope all of you took some time out today to thank those around you who have served our country and/or to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.
