AGT- The Finals TOP 10 Perform Sep 15

Hi Friends,

Last night on America’s Got Talent, the finals arrived. Only 10 acts remain and any one of these acts can win. Who will it be?
The $1,000,000 winner will be revealed on this Wednesday night’s show (Sept 16).
It all starts at 8/7central. Susan Boyle, a finalist from Britain’s Got Talent, will be one of the guest appearances.
But last night, the TOP 10 finalists each have a one in ten chance at the million dollar prize. The act who receives the most votes from America will star in a Las Vegas show on Oct 7 at the Planet Hollywood.

Below you can watch their performances and then Wednesday night, after America’s Got Talent’s show, I will post who won the million dollar prize for this season.

1. The Voices of Glory sang “Greatest Love of all” by Whitney Houston. Their performance was heartfelt as the three of them worked together to make this song their own. Their singing performance was awesome and brought the judges to their feet. You can watch The Voices of Glory sing “Greatest Love of All” in the video below.

2. Hairo Torres danced to a musical mix starting out with a famous Irving Berlin song, “Putting on The Ritz” which transitioned into a second song “Closer” by Ne-Yo. Through his performance, his emotional side dominated his dance moves. This young man from Grants Pass, Oregon has talent.

3. Lawrence Beamen sang Barry White ’s “The first the last my everything” He will go a long way in his singing career whether he wins America’s Got Talent or not. To see what I mean, you can watch his performance in video clip below.

4. Barbara Padilla sang Puccini’s O Mio Babbino Caro. For those who like opera style music, this beautiful woman has incredible talent. She is also an inspiration to many with her testimony of being a cancer survivor.

5. Fab Five clogged to Circus by Britney Spears. They definetely have clogging talent and their performance tonight was fun and upbeat.

6. The Texas Tenors sang “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and made it their own. Their voices flowed together and their performance was great. You can see The Texas Tenor’s singing “My Way” in the video below.

7. Drew Stevyns sang a classic by The Pretenders: “I’ll stand by you”. Drew made this song his own with emotion shining through as he sang and captivated the audience. He is a very talented singer and has a chance of being the “BlackHat” who may just win this season. You can listen and watch his singing performance in the video below.

8. Grandma Lee with her twisted adult humor had the audience laughing. She again picked on Piers and Hoff leaving Sharon disappointed. Grandma Lee is loveable and has a quick-witted character.

9. Kevin Skinner sang “I don’t wanna miss a thing” by Aerosmith.

10. Recycled Percussion commanded the stage as their own, jamming to Wipeout. With their creative stage sets and the talent they showed tonight, they may just be going to Vegas.

I can’t wait ’til Wednesday when the winner is finally announced. It should be really exciting to see who will be the 4th season America’s Got Talent winner. My guess is it will either be Voices of Glory, Drew Stevyns or Kevin Skinner.

Who do you think it will be? Leave a reply to let me know. :)

And as always, no matter what, don’t lose faith, and never give up!

Your Friend,

DL Faith

First Finalists on AGT Season 4 Sep 03

Hi Friend,

If you didn’t get a chance to watch last night’s first round of semi-final results on AGT, you are in for a big surprise.

From what we knew on Tuesday, only 4 of the 10 acts were going to make it to the finals. But at the end of the show, the judges froze not knowing which one of the two acts to send through. Before I let you know who they did or did not pick, here are the 3 acts that took the first 3 SPOTS in the FINALS:

The Texas Tenors

Grandma Lee

Kevin Skinner

At the end of the results show, Sharon Osbourne, David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan were all besides themselves. Two great acts: The Voices of Glory and Fab Five stood before them waiting to hear their fate. After the commercial break, the judges all agreed that they would either have to send both acts home or send both acts through because none of the judges could make a choice. So, at the last minute they surprised everyone and chose to send both The Voices of Glory and Fab5 through to the finals.

You can watch this amazing moment on America’s Got Talent in the video clip below:

So the first 5 acts going through to the finals are:
The Texas Tenors
Grandma Lee
Kevin Skinner
The Voices of Glory
Fab Five

Congratulations to all of you!!

Next week on America’s Got Talent, the second group of ten acts will be competing for their chance to make it to the finals. They will be:

Barbara Padilla
Drew Stevyns
Erik & Rickie
FootworKINGZ
Hairo Torres
Jeffery Ou
Lawrence Beaman
Mario & Jenny
Recycled Percussion
The Eriam Sisters

Leave a comment below to let us know who your favorite act(s) are out of the finalists from last night and the semi-finalists of next week.

And of course, as always, remember, no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up!

Your Friend,

DL Faith
