Happy Fourth of July Weekend! Jul 05

Hi Friend!

flag on beach

Happy Fourth of July Weekend!!

I hope you had a chance to celebrate the meaning of FREEDOM with your family and friends this weekend! I hope that you were able to take time out to enjoy every moment you had: from the bar-b-ques to the fireworks, from spending time with family and friends to spending time with the Lord and from remembering why FREEDOM does ring in our country to looking to the future to protect these freedoms.

I thank God for these freedoms. They are a gift and we must take a glimpse into the past (learning from the mistakes) so our future can remain secure! I don’t know what my future holds, but I do know Who holds my future. He has a plan for my life and I thank Him every morning for allowing me to make a positive difference in other peoples’ lives, even if it’s just one person’s life that God allows me to make a positive difference in, it is well worth living for.

I know that God is calling us to rise up and to love one another, especially in these times.

We must always remember, that God loves us and He always wants the best for us, so when things seem rough, always hold on to your Faith in God and His ability to see you through to the end.

May you hold onto true Faith and trust in the Lord always. He will never leave nor forsake you because He is with you always. Just call on His name and don’t lean on your own understanding, but with faith, trust the still small voice inside of you to lead and guide you every step of the way. Be blessed and enjoy the rest of this celebration weekend and as always, remember no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up!

Your Friend,

DL Faith

Walk the Walk May 27

Today I posted a new email forward that we received. It reminded me about always making sure we walk the walk. As Born again Believers, we must always try to do our best to be a living example to others of Who our Lord Jesus Christ is. We may never know, like the preacher did, whose life we might be affecting, but we must always try to walk the walk. Sure we will stumble and fall, because it’s in our nature, but when we fall, we know we have someone Who will pick us back up so we can try again. And that my friend is a part of Faith. As the saying goes, walk by faith not by sight. So today let us all remember we should walk the walk and as always, remember, no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up!

Your Friend,

DL Faith :)

P.S. If you have any testimonies of when your walk changed someone’s life, I would love for you to share it with us by leaving a reply below.

Faith- What does it mean? May 24

Each day that goes by leaves me wondering what faith means. As I reflected on the word faith, I came up with an acronym for the word.
F=Forgiven
A=As
I=I
T=Trust
H=Him!
So what exactly does this acronym have to do with Faith? I believe that God wants us to trust Him which is part of faith. In the book of Mark chapter 2:3-5 tells us: “Some men came, bringing to Him a paralytic, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” ”
So trusting Him and having the strong faith to do what seemed impossible because of all the obstacles standing in their way, gave the paralytic more than what he probably could even imagine. Jesus not only healed his paralysis, but He forgave him of his sins.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. So to me trusting in Him is part of faith and as I trust Him, I am forgiven because that is why Jesus died, to forgive all of us of our sins. God loves us so much that He allowed His only begotten Son to die for all of our sins so we could all have eternal life. He loves me and you and everyone that has ever lived and all those who will live after us.
This realization of what faith means and my thoughts on faith today leaves me in awe of God’s love for us.
I would like it if you would leave your inspirational thoughts about what faith means to you and what you think about my idea of what faith is.
May today this acronym that I came up with inspire you to know that not only me, but all of us can say: With faith I am ‘forgiven as I trust Him’.
And of course, as always, no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up!
I look forward to hearing from you below.
In His Love,
DL Faith
