Hi Friends,
Last night on America’s Got Talent 2009, the finals arrived. Only 10 acts remain and any one of these acts can win. Who will it be?
The $1,000,000 winner will be revealed on this Wednesday night’s show (Sept 16).
It all starts at 8/7central. Susan Boyle, a finalist from Britain’s Got Talent, will be one of the guest appearances.
But last night, the TOP 10 finalists each have a one in ten chance at the million dollar prize. The act who receives the most votes from America will star in a Las Vegas show on Oct 7, 2009 at the Planet Hollywood.
On Wednesday night, after America’s Got Talent’s show, I will post who won the million dollar prize for this season.
1. The Voices of Glory sang “Greatest Love of all” by Whitney Houston. Their performance was heartfelt as the three of them worked together to make this song their own. Their singing performance was awesome and brought the judges to their feet.
2. Hairo Torres danced to a musical mix starting out with a famous Irving Berlin song, “Putting on The Ritz” which transitioned into a second song “Closer” by Ne-Yo. Through his performance, his emotional side dominated his dance moves. This young man from Grants Pass, Oregon has talent.
3. Lawrence Beamen sang Barry White ’s “The first the last my everything” He will go a long way in his singing career whether he wins America’s Got Talent or not.
4. Barbara Padilla sang Puccini’s O Mio Babbino Caro. For those who like opera style music, this beautiful woman has incredible talent. She is also an inspiration to many with her testimony of being a cancer survivor.
5. Fab Five clogged to Circus by Britney Spears. They definitely have clogging talent and their performance tonight was fun and upbeat.
6. The Texas Tenors sang “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and made it their own. Their voices flowed together and their performance was great. These three men have a great career ahead of them.
7. Drew Stevyns sang a classic by The Pretenders: “I’ll stand by you”. Drew made this song his own with emotion shining through as he sang and captivated the audience. He is a very talented singer and has a chance of being the “BlackHat” who may just win this season.
8. Grandma Lee with her twisted adult humor had the audience laughing. She again picked on Piers and Hoff leaving Sharon disappointed. Grandma Lee is loveable and has a quick-witted character.
9. Kevin Skinner sang “I don’t wanna miss a thing” by Aerosmith.
10. Recycled Percussion commanded the stage as their own, jamming to Wipeout. With their creative stage sets and the talent they showed tonight, they may just be going to Vegas.
I can’t wait ’til Wednesday when the winner is finally announced. It should be really exciting to see who will be the 4th season America’s Got Talent winner. My guess is it will either be Voices of Glory, Drew Stevyns or Kevin Skinner.
Who do you think it will be? Leave a reply to let me know. :)
And as always, no matter what, don’t lose faith, and never give up!
Your Friend,
DL Faith
