Hi Friend,
Last night on America’s Got Talent two hour finale, a million dollar winner was declared.

The show started out with the TOP 10 acts performing with Thelma Houston who was singing “Don’t Leave Me this way”.

Leona Lewis winner of 2006 X Factor sang “Happy”.

Cirque de Soleil performed, then the TOP 5 Acts were revealed:

Barbara Padilla won vs. Hairo Torres
The Voices of Glory won vs. Lawrence Beamen
The Texas Tenors won vs. Fab 5
Kevin Skinner won vs. Drew Stevyns
Recycled Percussion won vs. Grandma Lee

Then Shakira danced as she sang “She Wolf”.

After that the TOP 5 became the TOP 2 as Nick Cannon announced their places according to America’s vote.

#5 The Voices of Glory
#4 The Texas Tenors
#3 Recycled Percussion

Kevin Skinner and Barbara Padilla then had to wait to learn who America had chosen to be the winner.

During this wait, Rascal Flatts came on and performed for America, followed by Susan Boyle runner-up of Britain’s Got Talent.

Susan wowed America as she sang “Wild Horses”, then the moment of truth came.

Nick Cannon waited until the last minutes of the show and revealed America’s winner.

Congratulations to Kevin Skinner, he is the WINNER! A down to earth country singer from Mayfield, KY!!

Below is the video of Kevin’s winning moment on AGT along with the heartwarming Finale Interview moments after he was crowned the winner of America’s Got Talent 2009:

What a season for AGT! Kevin is an inspiration to a lot of us that dreams can come true!

So, as the saying goes, Remember, no matter what, don’t lose faith and never give up! Kevin is a living example of this!

Have an awesome day and until next time,
Your Friend,
